The article attempts to sum up the discussion that has been continued in the Problemy Jakości monthly for a year. The subject of discussion was the problems related to the operation of quality management systems (QMS) within the offices of local authorities. One of the most significant problems discussed was the need/necessity of implementing QMS at the level of commune (gmina) council.
